what's the matter with supporting gay marriage? you don't even have to support it, but what's the reason to be against it? i mean - what's the problem letting two gays - who are gay with or without a diamond ring - speak some vows and call it marriage?

not that it's the same thing, but hell - i'd even support threesome marriage, if somebody wants that. i can't see the problem.

I'm placing a Climax book with my new therapist

yep, oompa started today with a new therapist who of course wanted to know if i had anything in particular that was the cause of me seeking his service.

so i kinda gave him a jwcult for dummy therapists cliffnotes version, and he seemed like he just couldn't believe some of it.

he understands my awakening has been difficult for me and the stress it has put on my wife and marriage/family.

i go to this pub (sort of like a cheers tv kinda pub) and since we can't smoke in there we have to step outside.

last tuesday (on a meeting night) an elder all dressed up walks past me on the same side walk.

he glances at me so i gave a nod gester.

the only reason i'm here and i exist is because of the jw org., my parents met in a hall.

is this your situation?.

if it weren't for that missionary couple out in dominican republic in the 50's that called on my grandma and if it weren't for the brother in the early 70's who called on my dad, my parents would have never met and i wouldn't be sitting here writing this post.. i just realized all of these years i thought i owed my life to god and his organization what i actually owed my life to was an organization that claimed to be god's channel.

For those of you who don't go to meetings anymore...

when you attended your last meeting ever as a dub, did you know it was your last?

did something happen which made it clear in your mind you were 'never going back' (not to be confused with nvrgnbk)?.

the last meeting we went to was the memorial in 2006. we only went because we knew we were already pegged for the elders' unwanted attention, so we had to go to keep them off our backs a little longer.

oompa, that's the point, once you set foot into a kingdumb hell again, you'll be approached and "love"-bombed by all the loving friends... they might even want to lure you into a biblestudy, who knows.

i did attend for my wife and mom for a long time, but at some point you just can't stand the bull anymore. i soon caught myself nervously staring at the clock watching the seconds pass before even the first hour was over. i think it's bad for your health to go to the meetings.

my wife was diehard JW too and still believes most of the nonsense. however, she can't stand the gossip anymore. and when you get a JW away from the meetings for a while, they become pretty reasonable. i can even talk with her about evolution now and how interesting this is.
